School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Excursion for Year 4 students

Date: 15 October

Time: 9:00am

Year 4 students will be attending an overnight excursion at Glenrock Scout Camp. From here, they will engage in many fun activities including, but not limited to some water safety at Merewether Ocean Baths, bus walks and STEM activities linked to our MAPPEN unit.

Excursion for Year 5 Students

Date: 20 October

Time: 9:00am

We are excited to announce that a three-day, two-night excursion to the Great Aussie Bush Camp is scheduled for all students in Year 5. This outdoor recreation camp will provide students with an invaluable experience, fostering teamwork skills, resilience and personal development in a memorable and engaging environment. The camp will be taking place in Term 4, Monday 20th -Wednesday 22nd October 2025.

Intensive Swimming Lessons

Date: Monday 27th October - Friday 7th November 2025

Time: 11:15 - 12:45pm

Intensive swimming lessons will be our sport for students in Year 1 , 2 and 3.

Swimming and water safety is a mandated component of the new NSW PDHPE syllabus making this a compulsory activity. Lessons will run every day.

Students will travel by bus to Mayfield Swim Centre for their lessons. Lessons will run for 45 minutes .

It has been three years since Hamilton Public School last took to the stage for a whole school concert and we are thrilled to announce that preparations are now underway for our spectacular 2025 production.

Our school concerts are a proud tradition at Hamilton, celebrating the incredible creativity, talent and teamwork of our entire school community. Every student and staff member plays a part in bringing the show to life, making it a true whole-school celebration where every child has their moment to shine.
